Better together – we’re merging our email lists!

What’s happening:

We are tidying up and merging our main village email lists, and we need your help. Our village website mailing list will be moving to our recently enhanced Mailchimp service because it provides us with much better tools for managing, publishing and distributing our news items.

Why?

Over time, Shipton village has created several mailing lists to keep our community informed of news and events. But we’ve aware there's duplication, so some of us are receiving the same message many times over. We’re required by data protection law to properly maintain your personal data, so it’s a great time to tidy up and merge these lists.

Next Steps

Many of you will have already been contacted via our Mailchimp email service asking you to confirm your continued interest in receiving village update emails. If you have already responded to that request, you don’t need to do anything else. Easy!

If you've only ever signed up to village emails via the Shipton Village website (this site), we need you to reaffirm your continued interest by sending the word YES in the message box below and click the Send Message > button, or by providing your details in our simple Sign-Up form. This should only take a minute but it’s important that you do so.

If we’ve not heard from you by the end of November, we will assume that the email address to which this has been sent is no longer active, or that you no longer wish to receive these news items.
